Union Leader Destiny LeVere Bolling Announces Campaign for 80th House of Delegates District

Henrico, VA – Today, union leader Destiny LeVere Bolling officially announced her candidacy for the 80th District of the Virginia House of Delegates following Lamont Bagby’s election to the Virginia Senate.

Born and raised in a small town on the Northern Neck of Virginia, Destiny knows what it’s like to live in a community where too many people feel overlooked or forgotten, and grow up in a community where people in leadership didn’t look like her. As a result, Destiny developed early on a desire to fight for change and a passion for service. She has spent her entire life since working to improve the lives of her community and Commonwealth.

Having served as an educator teaching students in underserved communities, volunteering at her local church, and as the current Communications Director of the Virginia AFL-CIO where she advocates for hardworking Virginians, Destiny has seen firsthand the struggles families are facing. She knows the residents in the 80th House District and communities across the Commonwealth deserve a leader who will wake up every single day fighting to deliver real change.

“I am so proud to announce my candidacy for the 80th House District as I fight to represent the hardworking families in our district,” said Destiny LeVere Bolling. “Too many families in our communities lack access to basic needs like health care, good-paying jobs, internet, and more. I have spent my life fighting for hardworking families and I hope the constituents of Virginia’s 80th House District will trust in me to continue that work on their behalf.”
