Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney Endorses Destiny LeVere Bolling for Delegate

Mayor Joins Broad Coalition of Support Backing Destiny’s Bold Vision to Support Virginia’s Families.

Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney today endorsed Destiny LeVere Bolling for the House of Delegates 80th District. Mayor Stoney joins a growing list of Virginia leaders and grassroots organizations since Destiny launched her campaign last month.

“I am proud to announce my endorsement of Destiny LeVere Bolling for the 80th District of the House of Delegates,” said Mayor Levar Stoney. “Destiny is a fighter, and throughout her life she’s fought for underserved and overlooked communities. Now, Destiny is ready to bring that fight to Richmond. As a former educator and union leader, Destiny will use those experiences and work to deliver a world-class education for our children and ensure Virginia families have the opportunity to thrive.”

Mayor Stoney’s endorsement follows that of Former Governor Terry McAuliffe, the Mid-Atlantic Pipe Trades Association, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 51, EMILY’s List, American Postal Workers Union Local 199, Office of Professional Employees International Union Local 334, Care In Action
